Google Ads.
Paid search built for nonprofit budgets, including the Ad Grant.
Campaigns structured around donor and volunteer acquisition, including setup and management of the Google Ad Grant where eligible.
For eligible 501(c)(3) organizations, the Google Ad Grant provides up to $10,000 a month in free search advertising, real budget most nonprofits are either not using at all or losing to inactive-account rules. We handle the application if you’re not yet enrolled, then build and maintain the account to Google’s ongoing compliance requirements so it stays active instead of getting suspended a few months in.
Grant accounts run alongside paid campaigns when the budget or the search terms call for it, structured around a specific outcome, more monthly donors, more volunteer sign-ups, more program applications, not raw click volume. Every ad group gets paired with a landing page built for that specific offer, rather than sending grant or paid traffic to a general homepage.
Because nonprofit and charity ad budgets, grant or paid, are real money that has to show real results, we report monthly in plain terms: cost per donor, cost per volunteer, cost per lead. If you’re also running Meta ads, we coordinate the two so search and social aren’t competing for the same audience with different messages.
Three steps, start to finish.
What we see organizations get wrong.
Built around real nonprofit budgets, including the Google Ad Grant, not a paid-search plan borrowed from a for-profit client.
Questions about google ads.
What is the Google Ad Grant?
It’s an in-kind advertising program that gives eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits up to $10,000 a month in free Google Search ads. It comes with its own compliance rules, so the account has to be actively managed to stay active, not just set up once.
How long does Google Ads setup usually take?
Most Google Ads engagements run 4–8 weeks depending on scope, though a narrowly defined project can move faster and a larger, multi-part engagement can run longer. We’ll give you a specific timeline once we understand what you’re starting from and how many stakeholders need to review along the way.
What do we need ready before we start?
If you’re not yet Grant-approved, basic nonprofit eligibility documentation; if you are, access to your existing account. Either way, a sense of your top donor or volunteer goals is usually enough for us to start.
What happens if our Grant account gets suspended?
We can often get a suspended account reinstated by fixing the compliance issues that caused it, though Google makes the final call, not us. We’ll tell you honestly what your odds look like once we can see the account.
Can this be bundled with other services?
Yes, Google Ads is often paired with landing pages for the offers each campaign promotes, or with Meta ads if you’re running paid social alongside search. We’ll flag what makes sense for your goals rather than upselling everything by default.
Who actually does the work?
A small, consistent team, not a rotating cast of freelancers. You’ll know who’s working on Google Ads for your organization from kickoff through delivery, and that same team handles revisions rather than handing you off to someone unfamiliar with the project.
What if we’re not sure this is the right service?
Tell us your goal and budget and we’ll say plainly whether Google Ads is the right starting point, or recommend something else in our services that fits better. We’d rather scope the right engagement than sell you the wrong one.
